Mozambique Information and Communication Technology : Micro and Small Enterprises Incubator - Phase III

The goals of the Mozambique Information and Communication Technology Micro and Small Enterprises Incubator (MICTI Incubator) are twofold: to identify sustainable opportunities for technology-based businesses in priority development areas; and to test the assumption that technology-based businesses can mentor the development of micro enterprises in these areas.

The design and pilot phases were funded under projects 101112 and 102138, respectively. The pilot phase was followed by an external evaluation.

The third phase will support a second intake of micro and small enterprises while incorporating the recommendations of the evaluation report.

The overall aim is to help ICT businesses become viable entities that contribute to economic development and employment in Mozambique.
