The Farm to Fork model, developed specifically for the Caribbean, resulted in increased income for farmers and improved consistency in food production and supply.
Food security policy in the small island developing states of the Caribbean Community has focused traditionally on commodity-oriented export production rather than production for domestic food markets.
Delivered at the International Food Security Dialogue conference (2014) this presentation provides information regarding the successful Canadian International Food Security Research Fund (CIFSRF) food security project.
