This study focuses on testing the hypothesis that application of ICT at firm level and trade facilitation policies has a causal impact on the quality and quantity of manufactured exports, productivity and investment.
In segmented labour markets like those of Brazil and India, vocational training policies tend to reinforce labour market inequality.
As inequality is embedded in history and society, this paper provides a long term historical framework for the analysis of labour market inequality in India.
