Despite the well-acknowledged importance of using evidence for decision-making by many development actors, organizations in most countries are not using timely and responsive mechanisms to effectively support evidence-informed policymaking.
Sexual violence is one of the key issues and research areas for adolescent reproductive health in West Africa. In Burkina Faso, sexual violence is a recurring phenomenon that leaves adolescent and young women particularly vulnerable.
This project aims to strengthen transformative leadership capacities in West Africa to encourage improved institutional and government use of health research and evidence in decision-making.
