Openness and quality in Asian distance education : sub-project 6; quality assurance models, standards and key performance indicators for ICT-supported distance education in Asia
The study revealed that quality assurance (QA) in distance education (DE) is still a relatively new concept in some countries/territories, and that different QA approaches reflect differences in cultures, expectations, and stages of development.
