Reducing Urban Violence in the Global South seeks to identify the drivers of urban violence in the cities of the Global South and how they relate to and interact with poverty and inequalities.

Caracas, Venezuela, is one of the most violent cities in the world with a homicide rate of 122 per 100,000 inhabitants.
According to the results of the IDRC-supported project, Brazilian Youth and Democracy (102622), young people want to find out more about regional integration and its implications for their future.
