Winners of the 2019 IDRC Doctoral Research Awards

The prestigious 2018 Fellowship has been awarded to Matthew McBurney, who is completing a PhD in Political Science and International Development at the University of Guelph.
The Fellowship has been awarded to Isha Berry, who is completing a PhD in epidemiology at the University of Toronto.
IDRC Doctoral Research Awards are intended to increase research capacity in Canada and in developing countries to improve the lives of people in the developing world.
The Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS) lead a regional reflection on the adaptability to the local context of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS-2).
