In a global first, major progress has been made toward developing a new vaccine against contagious bovine pleuropneumonia (CBPP) that is safe, highly effective, easily stored and transported, with no cooling required.

Livestock production is a critical industry in Africa, but suffers large losses to preventable viral infections. This project aims to curb the problem.
