Nepal has updated national targets and indicators with baseline information, started Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) costing, established SDGs implementation and process monitoring mechanisms and begun strengthening data base systems.
Background & objectives: The burden of visceral leishmaniasis (VL) in Nepal, as in other developing countries, falls disproportionately upon the rural poor.
