    IDRC contributes to the conversation about agricultural transformation in Africa at AGRF 2016

    IDRC’s research and partnerships were in the spotlight at this year’s African Green Revolution Forum,  held in Nairobi, Kenya, from September 5–9. IDRC’s Cultivate Africa’s Future (CultiAf) project, and collaborating partner the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), organized the side-event Science and Innovation to Transform African Agriculture to kick off the forum.

    Uganda cabinet approves policy initiated by IDRC grantee

    The Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC), an IDRC grantee under the Think Tank Initiative program, reached a major milestone on May 4, 2016, with cabinet approval of their National Fertilizer Policy. The organization was heavily involved in supporting and influencing the entire five-year policy development process, from policy formulation through to cabinet approval.
