The research reviewed policy developments and actions related to internet freedoms over the period 2010 to 2014.
Research from Central and East Africa shows that, despite facing engrained gender barriers, women are important participants in the economic activity surrounding artisanal and small-scale mining, and some are forging new economic pathways.
PROUWD (Partnership for Research on Ugandan Women with Disabilities), Phase I, was an inception visit by the Canadian Centre on Disability Studies (CCDS) to the National Union of Women with Disabilities in Uganda (NUWODU).
