Significance of Feminist Analysis in North-South Relations (Inter Pares)

External evaluations have confirmed that Inter Pares is achieving the results it seeks - particularly with respect to gender equity and effective collaboration with Southern partners - and in a way that others find exemplary. However, since neither its methodology nor analytical framework has ever been scrutinized, it is not known to what extent these are responsible for the outcomes achieved. Through case studies, researchers will endeavor to discover how Inter Pares integrates feminist analysis in practice. The idea is to make explicit Inter Pares' feminist principles and how they inform internal processes, partnership building and programming methodology. The findings will be shared with counterparts, nongovernmental organizations and colleagues through an Inter Pares occasional paper, as well as through journal articles, workshops, conferences and panel discussions.
