Institutional Support : Research on Poverty Alleviation (REPOA)

REPOA is a well-established and well-managed independent policy research organization with a record of producing high-quality, policy-relevant research results. REPOA is experiencing rapid growth in the demand for its services. This grant from IDRC's Think Tank Initiative (TTI) will enable REPOA to hire additional senior researchers, engage experienced professionals on a short-term basis to mentor young in-house staff, launch a new thematic area on growth and social protection, and support staff training and exchange visits. A monitoring and evaluation system will be set up to ensure that the objectives of the grant are achieved.
