The Institute of Policy Analysis and Research (IPAR), Kenya, is a 15-year-old research organization known as a reputable producer of high-quality, policy-relevant research that it disseminates in various forms. This grant from IDRC's Think Tank Initiative (TTI) will help IPAR address its sustainability issues by offering competitive remuneration packages to reduce staff turnover, recruiting additional staff, training existing staff, improving organizational systems and infrastructure, expanding its policy advocacy work, enhancing the capacity of Board members, implementing its 2010-2015 strategic plan, and establishing a monitoring program to ensure that the objectives of the plan are achieved.
