This project will support capacity building in the GrOW 2 partnership. It covers the operational costs, including salaries and benefits, office costs and travel of IDRC staff to develop, monitor, support and report the research activities. Separate Project Approval Documents will authorize the execution of individual research projects and activities related to program governance, communication, and evaluation.

The GrOW 2 program is a partnership between IDRC, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. It represents a joint investment of CAD 10.5 million over 5 years, aimed at spurring transformative change to advance gender equality in the world of work, with a focus on East Africa.
