EQUINET : Reclaiming the Resources for Health - Phase V

The Southern African Regional Network on Equity in Health (EQUINET) is a network of professionals, researchers, civil society members and policymakers who have come together to work toward health equity and social justice in the Southern African Development Community (SADC). Earlier phases were funded under projects 004378, 100954, 102041 and 103277. This phase will focus on promoting knowledge and policy messages beyond the network, and strengthening their application at the country and regional level. Specifically, the project will support the implementation of district, country and regional health equity watches; provide technical support to the Municipal Services Restructuring project (100192); inform researchers and policymakers on commercialization in health; and suggest alternatives to private for-profit involvement.
