Consolidating and Integrating the Education Portals Network and Latin America Schoolnets

The Latin American Schoolnets (REDAL) network and the Latin American Education Portals Network (RELPE) have made a substantive contribution to understanding the use and incorporation of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in education. Building on work carried out under projects 102073 (REDAL) and 102126 (RELPE), this grant will support a series of activities to strengthen the networks, reinforce political commitment to them and promote their collaboration on the production of educational resources for better quality education. Underprivileged children in the region still have difficulty accessing and completing formal education. It is hoped that the project will help make teaching materials and content available to them.
