This webinar will discuss what influenced the use of evidence and learnings for using evidence in policy processes in Africa. It focuses on the use of evidence from tobacco taxation research that was conducted across West Africa and led by the Consortium pour la recherche économique et sociale in Dakar, working with ECOWAS.

The webinar will explore:

  • the analytical framework around evidence use and how it is applied in the research; and
  • the lessons around evidence use emerging from the project on tobacco control in ECOWAS countries.
