Cochabamba Focus City organizes International Symposium on Solid Waste Management

The Society for Environmental Management of Bolivia (SGAB for its Spanish acronym), through its Focus City Program, together with the Commission on Sustainable Development of the Bolivian Parliament and the Ministry of Environment and Water, has organized the First International Symposium on Successful Municipal Environmental Policies for Solid Waste Management in Latin America.
 
The Symposium will take place on October 22 and 23, 2009, in the City of Cochabamba, Bolivia.
It is sponsored by the Foundation for the Support to Parliament and Citizens Participation (FUNDAPPAC in Spanish); the Corporación Andina de Fomento, CAF (Corporation for the Promotion of Andean Region); and the German Cooperation GTZ.
