The connectivity map in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) is an initiative of the Institute for Connectivity in the Americas (ICA).  The map allows visualizing the ICTs development in the region for the last decade.  Among other features, the "compare countries" function allows one to compare the evolution of ICTs in 3 countries (user's choice).

The average for South America, Central America and the Caribbean is also included in the comparative chart.  In this first version, the map presents basic indicators of infrastructure and use provided by the International Telecommunications Union ("Worldwide Telecommunications Indicators" database).
