Most of our funding is directed to Southern-based researchers. Canadians also have opportunities to participate through awards and collaborative projects with Southern organizations.
IDRC has several programs that work in partnership with UPE, offering further ways to participate on related projects. Please see Funding & Awards Opportunities at IDRC.
Please note that for this fiscal year, the Urban Poverty and Environment Programme will no longer be funding unsolicited research proposals.
