External program reviews (2010)

IDRC commissions external program reviews toward the end of each program cycle. These final evaluations are our primary accountability mechanism in terms of the results, effectiveness, and relevance of program spending.

External program reviews aim to:
  • account to IDRC’s Board of Governors for the implementation of the program prospectus
  • provide input into programming for learning and improvement
We commissioned reviews for the following program areas in 2010.
