Searching for lasting solutions

The Middle East and North Africa region faces significant challenges — from democracy to women’s rights, climate change, water management, and economic diversification. And our grantees are searching for answers.

They’ve identified ways to increase the efficiency, equity, and sustainability of water use. They’re working to improve the welfare of rural women in places where the natural environment has degraded so much that it has caused women to migrate. They’re also looking at ways to help the poor and vulnerable cope with the long-term impacts of global warming.

This is where you’ll find the results of their work, in research papers, reports, books, videos, conference proceedings, and much more.
