The Think Tank Initiative is a multi-donor program dedicated to strengthening independent policy research institutions—or “think tanks” —in developing countries. Our goal is to enable think tanks to better provide sound research that informs and influences policy.

To achieve this vision, we are supporting a select group of independent policy research organizations based in developing countries in their efforts to carry out rigorous, independent research that enhances the policymaking process.
