Think Tank Initiative
Supporting policy research institutes

The Think Tank Initiative is a multi-donor program dedicated to strengthening independent policy research institutionsor “think tanks” in developing countries. Our goal is to enable think tanks to better provide sound research that informs and influences policy.

Our vision? To ensure policymakers in participating countries consistently use objective, high-quality research to develop and implement policies that lead to more equitable and prosperous societies.

To achieve this vision, we are supporting a select group of independent policy research organizations based in developing countries in their efforts to carry out rigorous, independent research that enhances the policymaking process.
