Tackling global issues requires a collaborative effort. Building international teams that unite individuals with scientific expertise and knowledge of local contexts is needed for science to address numerous societal and technological changes. 

Established in 2005, IDRC’s Challenge Fund acts as a catalyst to create new research consortia. We respond to the growing interest in collaborative and comparative international research.
